We’re already choosing our great Day Camp Leaders for July and August. Help foster the love of farm animals, sing songs, go on nature walks, learn fun facts about animals, do crafts and play games – everyday is different

Part time available through school year; venturing out with the cutest critters to Birthday and Community parties. If you have solid horse expereince, you can take a pony or Unicorn visiting for parties!

18+ years

Valid Class 5 Drivers License and clean driving abstract required

Front Desk Farm Superstar

This is an action station. Be that welcoming, friendly face and voice—greet guests, answer the phone! Take bookings and payments. Answer questions; keep everything on track. Be a problem solver and first aider (mostly band-aids). Enjoy variety and embrace that every day is different, including helping with Day Camp lunches and maybe bottle-feeding babies, too!

Be comfortable with desktop and laptop use, including MS Office programs, and be able to quickly learn registration forms; have reasonably accurate keyboard skills.

Be OK with coaching and supervision from several charismatic cats and charming dogs.

Hours vary Mon to Fri: close to full-time April thru September (typically 9 to 4pm) ; fewer hours in shoulder season, very quiet Nov through March.

Clean Driver’s License required.

Starting $18/hr

Farmyard/Animal Care Taker

Do you enjoy working outside? Do you love farm animals? Apply to be part of our Animal Care Taker team! Enjoy the crisp fall air, while interacting with the public here at the farm, as well as taking animals to community events, and parties.

You must be 16 yrs old before you can be considered for actual employment with Butterfield Acres, so we offer this program as a stepping stone to provide valuable farm experiences and useful life skills that let your light shine and can give you a leg up.
