What we're looking for is new menu ideas that are both child friendly and nutritious, and which can be easily produced for a large number of children within a fairly short time frame (lunch hour). All meals must be peanut/nut free.

Snack ideas could be available ready-made, or could be make-ahead the morning-of and storable in the fridge for use throughout the day. All meals must be peanut/nut free.

We want your creative FARM CRAFT ideas for our Summer Day Camps
Win $25 off a child's Summer Camp Fee if your idea is used.

• must be age appropriate for the children (consider interests, attention span, manual dexterity);
• must look relatively good when the CHILDREN make it (!!!);
• must be appropriate for sheep day, bunny day, goat/cow day, pony day, etc, or otherwise reflect the children's experiences throughout the week on the farm (i.e. placemats/calendars where the kids do a little each day).
• Ideally the crafts are from recycled materials, and
• Ideally they are useful at home.
• Crafts should expose the children to an interesting medium or technique or idea but should not use or contain items of safety-concern (e.g., small buttons or pea-sized objects for pre-school children).
• Crafts should not require extensive preparation time from the leaders, and should have a degree of durability.

Samples are appreciated.
