For the last few years we have received several Parent's Choice Awards. And, we're sure its because everything here is so hands-on that learning and fun just happens! And very frequently, years later we meet older children who still vividly rmember their field trip to the farm! That makes us happy.

The Great Legendary Easter Hunt runs the 2 weekends prior to Easter and is a terrific way get to know everyone while in a different setting. Click for more information...

Plan to visit our Spring Babies!
Farmyard visits with all the traditional Spring Babies!
Try all the things you'd do if you lived on a farm:

  • Hunt for fresh eggs or play on the goat bridge
  • Wriggle your fingers into some sheep's wool or try some milking
  • Check out the cutest bunnies and chicks in town
  • Have fun with some baby goats (they've got P-E-R-S-O-N-A-L-I-T-Y!!)
  • Find some piggys, cows, ponies, donkeys, geese, chickens, and much more!

There's even a big old wagon ride behind "Old Yeller", our tractor!

Harvest Pumpkin Hunts
Gentle rolling ride over the hills and through the woods, searching for some real cute kid-sized pumpkins! Includes pumpkin decorating (no carving) & a farmyard visit with the animals too! Available available every weekend in October, but we recommend visiting the farm early so the pumpkins can be admired all month! Book early as all of our Farm Fun Events tend to sell out quickly! A Picnic Party!
Join us for a picnic party during the summer months. We do all the work, ya'll can just show up and eat! And what a fun way to spend the day, in the good company of the fuzzy and furry friends that live here at Butterfield Acres. Our concession, "Gobbles n' Gulps", may provide coffee or drinks, snacks, lunches and more for your group when pre-arranged through the farm office.
